The thought of losing a pet is absolutely heartbreaking, but knowing we aren’t alone can be especially comforting during this time. Going with Grace© was founded in 2012 to help pet owners find peace through photographs of their senior and critically ill pets. From behind the lens, few hearts are strong enough to handle the weight of these sessions – but I learned quickly that mine is and it pulled me toward this area to focus my efforts.
“You are blessed with a gift of capturing our furry friend’s spirit even when they don’t feel good and are ill – like Sugar Ray was. He was so happy on his last day with us, running around the winery as if he knew. I know my brother is especially grateful you captured his last days with us. Sugar Ray touched many lives throughout the United States, traveling with my brother. He lives on in all our hearts still and we are forever grateful for what you do and your special gift,” – Stacy S.
It is always extremely tough to hear a beloved pet is diagnosed with the ugly “C” word. Canine cancer is the top reason clients contact me for a Going with Grace© session. It breaks my heart every time, but my goal is to celebrate the life of each pet I meet. There are rarely tears in my sessions. I ensure these photo sessions are a carefree and memorable experience without focusing on the pet’s diagnosis.
